November 29th will see the opening of a brand new piano bar in Plovdiv. Piano Bar Eight Wonder will welcome selected guests like popular public figures, diplomats as well as members of the business.
The club's interior is designed by Julian Tahov, who also created the design of the “in vogue” Sin City club in Sofia, as well as the design of Planeta Payner club in Plovdiv.
The uniqueness of Tahov's style shows in every detail of the design; the broken up and varied volumes are conducive to the visitors' impression of partying in full swing while at the same time privately resting in their personal boxes. Here you can also find Tahov's favourite geometric figures, mainly circles and squares. They create an atmosphere of a cosmic dimension, of something that is seemingly beyond our galaxy.
The designer's point of departure is the consideration of the particularities of the inner space like thick heavy walls and arch-like vaults which he has seen through the glasses of Modernism until finally creating a new, untypical level of space which gives birth to various emotions. The castle interiors are provocatively recreated in a modern castle style which represents a passage from the past to the present epoch. The unique atmosphere of “Eight Wonder” brings about a sense of luxury consisting of varied details, decorative elements, a harmony of different materials, polished, suede and leather surfaces with a classic feel. The royal lilies on the arches, the frieze, Michelangelo's paintings are monumental and give a soul to the whole atmosphere. All this results in what is today a successful formula: eclecticism. What is important is the final result, and that is attractiveness to the clients.
