High-ranking MERCK KgaA representatives attended the opening ceremony. A business partner who had placed his trust on Aquachim since the company's day one also attended the ceremony. This relationship is an example of trust based on fair play between partners, proven professionalism and honest business, which is not too hard to spot in Bulgaria's economic situation.

Professor Atanas Shterev, who is the Deputy Chairman of the Health Care Commission; engineer Dimitar Vergiev, who is a Director of the Executive Agency on Environment in the Ministry of Environment and Water of Bulgaria; H. E. Mr. Michael Geier, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany; H.E. Thomas Feller, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Confederation of Switzerland to Bulgaria;
Mr. Martin Staub, BTC Executive Director; Bertram Rollmam, Chairman of the Bulgarian-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BGCIC); Mr. Mitko Vasilev, Executive director of BGCIC, Mrs. Beti Ganeva, Editor-in-Chief of the Bulgarisches Wirtschaftsblatt Newspaper; designers, builders, etc. After His Grace, the Bishop of Vidin had performed the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Michael Römer (a member of the council of MERCK OHG) together with Dr. Borislav Velikov (founder and owner of Aquachim LLC) performed the tape-cutting.
The offices and seminar halls are conducive to the generation of good business ideas. Assoc. Prof. Borislav Velkov awarded the top designer Julian Tahov a gratitude certificate for creative design of the office building. The ceremony closed with a cocktail party in the conference hall of the building, where Ass. Prof. Dr. Borislav Velkov, Mr. Michael Römer and Mr Franz-Joseph Schaeffer, regional Vice President of MERCK for South East Europe offered their greetings.
