Julian Tahov, “The Designer of the Year 2005” provocative again in the new super fashionable interior of the extended Sin City.

Julian Tahov's new project for the disco club on the second floor of Sin City consists of creating a super fashionable interior, a successful attempt at fully seizing hold of space through employing new devices and techniques. The elements we have so far been familiarized with in Tahov's style (and we can really talk of style in Julian Tahov's interior design) are almost not present now, except for perhaps his favourite stripes in red and black.

This new interior makes no references to the classical age, nor does it make references to any other past age. Everything here is about the future, only and future and nothing else, time flows in one direction only: ahead.

There is neo-exuberance here achieved hands down, with great ease and elegant neglect for rules, but still he interior carries a feeling of tension, just like the tension of a stretched spring. He has “jumped” into the future due to the impression that shapes and volumes, spheres, hemispheres, and spirals create.

Welcome to the new balls hall: astonishing and pleading you to leave behind the heavy burden of the day, to kick out the daily grind, to be seductive as the Devil and extravagant as God, to be cosmopolitan, to be different.
